A series of films about activism, humans, and other animals. Filmed in Thailand and Canada with Sangduen “Lek” Chailert, Darrick Thomson, and a cast of hundreds. Episode: “best dam mahout from chiang mai to myanmar” explores a day in the life of a mahout named dam. Dam’s elephants are: Sri Prae [Navann’s mother], Kampan, Dao Tong, and formerly Malai Tong, who is now chief nanny of Yindee [Mintra’s boy]. Episodes in the series may be watched in any order.

  1. What a touching film. Lek has done a miraculous sanctuary. The once abused elephants can live free from work and abuse. They are loved and respected. I think this is reflected in their lives at ENP!

The happiness of the elephants and other animals is touchable; Dam is indeed a very great mahout , dedicated to his elephant ” Navann ” , Thanks to all those who make this possible and looking forward to be back
