Someone Knows Something (SKS) is an ongoing investigative original CBC podcast series, written and hosted by award-winning filmmaker David Ridgen, that explores cases of the missing or murdered and unravels the visceral ripple effects on families and small communities across Canada. Each week, SKS brings audiences up close with the family that is looking for answers, the investigators who can’t quit and potential suspects – investigating theories, debunking rumours and finding new information – all through head-on pov storytelling.
Season Three: Dee & Moore
19-year-old African Americans Henry Hezekiah Dee and Charles Eddie Moore from Meadville, MS were kidnapped and brutally murdered by the White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan on May 2, 1964. David works with Charles Moore’s brother Thomas, a retired Command Sergeant Major, over several years in the deep American South to find justice and reconciliation in this horrifying civil rights era case.

A short doc about the upcoming Season Two case followed by Someone Knows Something (SKS).

Why did authorities close the case in 1964 and again in 2003? David and Thomas speak with the FBI and local District Attorney to try to find out. They also meet Henry’s sister Thelma and Joe Lee, one of the last to see Dee & Moore alive. Thomas and David make a shocking discovery.
David and Thomas meet journalist jerry Mitchell who has stacks of FBI documents about the case. They speak to people who lived through the terror of Civil Rights era Mississippi , and visit U.S. Attorney Dunn Lampton to try to get the case re-opened.
4. Bunkley

5. The Bridge
The investigation continues, leading to the doorsteps of more former Klansmen. Then, a surprising revelation from Lampton.
